UK Armed Forces Provision

We are proud to be an Accredited Training Provider under the ELCAS programme (ELC Provider Number 1235).

Members of the armed forces are enrolled on all of our courses; Stratford Business School tutors work with service personnel on both distance learning provision, classroom-based teaching at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and intensive seminars held in Stratford–upon–Avon.

Enhanced Learning Credits

Talk to us first to discuss the most appropriate qualification for you. If Enhanced Learning Credits are appropriate we can provide you with details to complete an ELC Claim Form and start the process rolling. The form has to be approved by your Commanding Officer and Education Staff before being sent to ELCAS. They then send you a Claim Authorisation Note (CAN), which you send to us. The CAN guarantees that the MOD will pay up to £1000 or £2000 towards your course fees, depending on your entitlement.

Qualifications and Accreditation

The following programmes are available. All of those that require some studying are eligible for ELC or SLC funding, and most of them offer some accreditation, depending on rank and military course completed.

Edexcel HNC and HND in Business

This programme includes the option to top up an existing HNC to HND
Four Specialist routes are offered:
- Marketing
- Management
- HRM
- Finance
Enhanced Learning Credits can be used; it is possible to make separate claims for Year 1 and year 2 of the course

Edexcel Level 5 Management & Leadership

Diploma in Management & Leadership 6 Units (40 Credit Points)
Diploma in Management & Leadership 8 Units (60 Credit Points)
Significant accreditation is available for Warrant Officers

Edexcel Level 7 Strategic Management & Leadership

Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership (20 Masters level Credit Points)
Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership (70 Masters level Credit Points)
Extended Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership (120 Masters level Credit Points). Stratford Business School Extended Diploma holders gain automatic progression to the final stage of the MBA at our partner Universities – see Prospectus for full details.

Stratford Business School courses are available by distance learning, and through residential seminars.
